Edward Stephens

Edward Stephens is a London Lad through and through. He's got that sense of humor that the British are famous for. He's a  down to earth guy who just happens to look like he stepped out of a Calvin Klein billboard. One glance at his super fit body will make you want to invest in a gym membership.

Edward also  has a really ethnically ambiguous look. In some shots he looks Latin, In others he looks Eurasian or  even Middle Eastern. One thing for certain is that he has got loads of potential.Watch this space as big things are to be expected from Edward.  He could very well follow in the footsteps of Christian Bale or Ed Westwick.

1. Tell us a little about yourself - (where you grew up, your life - anything you wish to tell)

Hey all, I am a home grown London boy, of 21 years. Honest to god I wouldn't have it any other way, you just don't get the buzz outside of the big city. Life is changing so fast you hit this point where u decide you want to be a somebody and then just go for it, I'm still covering my losses I'm studying Biology at imperial college London, doing finals now it's seriously hard work. However, something about the modeling and acting  that I'm into at the moment , has got me all caught up and I'm loving it like you would not believe. Just filmed a show reel, and signed up to Premier, I'm hoping there is going to be a few things to say for the next year.

2. How did you get involved in modeling?

Modeling, well previously i have looked bit too young, had actually wanted to give it a go, but i always knew i wanted to do it, all part of a master plan that involved going to a London uni, pursuing modeling and then acting (without being a model slash actor lol)(hey, did Ed just make a zoolander reference?) but basically my mate got into it, I started building a portfolio and with a bit of work got signed. I am so stoked, It'll be interesting to see what kind of career i have.

3. What do you think is the biggest misconception about male models? do you live up to that misconception?

ha ha there are definitely misconceptions, people can think you are vain or conceited, I guarantee modeling is first of all not an ego building exercise, it is fascinating, but its about whether u look right for the industry not a case of "good looking" or "bad looking". I have honestly kept the whole business to myself cos as much as i would appreciate my friends support or criticism, i guess its kind of my own journey and I'm learning so much about myself doing it.

4.What is your ultimate goal as a model? What is in your future?

Lol I can't get into it and be unsuccessful that would kill me, i would love to do a few campaigns before i hang up my boots definitely, however my real passion lies in the acting, breaking Hollywood would be a dream come true, I don't know the recipe yet but I'm working on it. if I don't then its chair, desk and 9-5 for me! which i don't want.

5. Tell us about your favorite photo shoot you have done so far?

Ah photo shoots so far have been great, all different. I like the studio and getting on really well with some of the local photographers etc. However, this guy came over from the states and did a shoot with me, and it was so cool because we did a location shoot around where I live and to incorporate my history into my pictures was just the best, and was a really nice day out so just all in all a good investment of my time.

6. Your look is really exotic. What is your ethnic background?

Ha ha i love it, because ever since i developed i have steadily looked more and more racially ambiguous, i get half Arabic, half Chinese, Italian, Spanish all sorts, its actually really great and always puts a smile on my face. I'm actually half Australian, which doesn't explain much, but I will run with it lol.

7. What is the craziest thing You have ever done?

Oh lol, crazy things come and go, you're bungee jumping, sky diving etc. the craziest situation i have been in was on my gap year. I was helping out on a project in a game reserve that backed onto Kruger National Park. Me and a mate went for a bush walk, and trust me everything is out there your talking lions, black mamba's everything. So we went for a trek low and behold ended up getting lost, and in the middle of thick bush scrub it all looks the same, then the worst set in topless and with only a lighter, we got caught out in a lightning storm, just as the sun was setting. Sun down = very bad news if out in the bush. It took us an hour of panicked searching to get back to the camp. we managed it 5 minutes before it got pitch black, and when we got back we got told the others had spotted a pride of lions 2km from the camp. Never had such an adrenaline buzz!

8.If you had a choice, what magazine would you be on the cover of?

Ah magazine cover, if you had asked me at 17 i would have said Men's Health. Time for bigger and better, I will say GQ would be a very good place to start.

9. Describe your personal style?

My style is sport athletic, always off to the gym or playing sports, so tracksuit bottoms, trainers. I actually love being out and about having fun, just so up for taking life as it comes right now, I carry a very ambitious streak but never share it with anyone lol.

10. The question that the ladies would like to know....are you single?

yikes!....I'm spoken.

11. If i were to turn on your MP3 player. What song would play?

Honest to god, you could hear anything right now I'm revising and classical is going. However, I'm a big fan of T.I, Kanye etc, also like my UK hip hop too, but right now I'm going to say Kanye West ,Flashing lights. what a tune!

12. This is a question that every guy would like to ask you but NEVER would, So I'll ask it for them.Whats your one secret for maintaining your look?

As for maintaining my look ah, well it depends which look were talking about, not much i can do about my dubious confused ethnicity side of things, but on being pigeon holed as underwear model i can guarantee exercise is on the agenda. Yes i moderately watch what i eat, not calorie count just eat the right stuff and then you can never go too far wrong tho i still want to get in much better shape, to keep me aiming higher. also water is a god send( skin etc and though i have been seriously lacking in it recently) I'm sure sleep has to help to lol.
