Yep its true, Rapper Nelly is to be the new face body of Sean John's underwear line. Nelly, who stopped wearing shirts around late 2005 (just kidding) will also be dropping trousers for this ad and print campaign. The print campaign for Sean Jean Underwear was shot in Los Angeles by photographer Randee St. Nicholas.
In the press release Sean "P Diddy" Combs says "To me, Nelly is the quintessential definition of the Sean John man…He has the attitude, the swagger and most of all, the physique that our customers can both aspire and relate to. And let's be honest, all of the ladies out there are going to be thanking us for this campaign. The images are so strong; they speak for themselves."
Nelly is not the first rapper to be a spokesman for an underwear brand. Mark "Marky Mark" Wahlberg modeled for Calvin Klein Underwear during the 90's. Recently, David Beckham also did a photoshoot for Dolce & Gabanna.
