One thing that Peta has surely mastered is "how to generate a stir". A few years back they stormed the stage at Victorias Secret. Well this new ad will definitely create a stir . The ad is titled is called "Whose skin are you in?" Its quite high on shock value so be warned before you watch it.

I wouldnt advise you to watch it if you plan on eating or have just eaten.

Sacha Baron Cohen stormed the stage at the Agatha Ruiz de la Prada  Show. The actor best known for his portrayal brought the show to a halt and security guards came on stage to remove him from the show.

According to theaustralian, he was in Milan shooting footage for a new project where he plays a " flamboyant Austrian fashion reporter named Bruno." The Movie is called," Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male"

After  being removed from the runway he was taken to a police station but he wasnt charged. I would like to know how he even got into fashion week. Im sure Agatha must have been a bit  miffed by the whole thing.

Make Your Mark In Fashion- Junky Styling

YIKES!!! British supermodel, Kate Moss  has created her first work of art. Kate has created a self-portrait in lipstick and blood ( Ewwww!!!!!).

The piece is abstract, and shows Kate Moss smoking a cigarette. The statement "Who needs blood when you’ve got lipstick" was written by Pete Doherty across the top of the canvas.

I find the whole thing just a tad very creepy.  Its supposed to be sold at Edinburgh auction house Lyon & Turnball in Scotland on Saturday. Its expected to make  over 20,000 pounds!!!!!!  Double Yikes!!!

Apparently,  Louis Vitton has been eyeing Sean Connery to be the spokesperson in their ad campaign.

Supposedly, Sean Connery posed for photographer Annie Leibovitz, earlier this month. The ad campaign is scheduled to be released  around the same time as the new James Bond movie. The Quantum of Solace will be released in October.

Top Shop has released their A/W08 Lookbook!!!  They  have also recently launched their US site so our American friends across the pond can  also shop on their website. They’re really great streetwear inspiration (albeit a bit too well-styled).  There are 4 collections in Topshops Autumn/ Winter lookbook. They are:

1. Wonderland- a quirky, colourful, young collection full of lantern skirts, lots of sparkles and lots of chiffon
2. Bandstand - a very military inspired collection that still mages to look feminine by using  very girly colours.  This collection is very much into details (rope details on jackets ,fringing and buttons)
3. Boudoir- a very fresh and youthful vibrancy ith bows and frills justaposed with leather jackets and mmasculine cuts

I have about 50 blogs that i subscribe to and read on a regular basis. One of the blogs that I stay up to date with is Zach Burns Photography Blog ( ive been reading it since its inception). As I previously posted before, I attended  Facshion: Trade Buyer and Consumer show last weekend.  Well at the show Zach was one of the models. If you read most of the major Fashion Blogs you’ll have seen Zach Burns before( he has been featured on most of them and is signed with Evolution Models). He’s also photographer so you may also have seen some of the cool shoots he has done.

I didnt see him after the show so I didnt get a chance to say "Hi", becuase I had to rush off to another engagement. I just thought I’d post two photos that were snapped of Zach Burns ‘burning" up the catwalk. (see  I’m quite clever I made a pun on the word ‘Burn’)

A snippet from Britney Spears new single has just been posted on Youtube. The single for "Womanizer" will debut on Monday 22nd September. The single will be on her new album "Circus" which will be released on her 27th Birthday, December 2nd. Now you are probably wondering why, I posted this since it isnt fashion or Britain related. Well it kind of has a British connection. Rumour has it, that Britney will perform the new song on one of the live shows of X Factor later this year. Below is the her new single "Womanizer".

I posted about the Stella show earlier this week. Heres a video of Adidas by Stella McCartney at Fashion Week. If you look closely you can see Britains Beth Tweddle on the beam. Theres also an interview with sprinter, Alyson Felix and Victoria Pendleton.

Earlier this year, Jessica Kellgren-Hayes placed 2nd runner up in the Britain’s Missing Top Model competition. Well earlier this week she  was spotted at an event at Blandford House. Friend of this blog Andy Espin was at the event  and snapped some shots of Jessica ( Thanks Andy!).

The event  featured a combination of the designers Berrie (www.berrie.org.uk) and Enamore (www.enamore.co.uk).

Jessica was one of my faves when I watched Britain’s Missing Top Model because she seemed fun and quirky but mainly becuase she didnt get involved in the unneccessary bickering that plagues most reality shows.

Naomi’s Fashion for Relief charity show was definitley star-studded. Those who took to the catwalk included Cheryl Cole, David Gandy, Tyson Beckford, Paul Sculfor, Jamelia, Erin O’Connor, Katharine Jenkins, Daisy Lowe, Agyness Deyn and The Sugarbabes. Topnotch designers like Donna Karan, Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel also supported the event by supplying the clothes for the show. Cilla Black closed the charity fashion show  wearing  A Yves Saint Laurent Top Hat.

Even the audience was filled with stars. Mischa Barton and the Prime Ministers wife, Sarah Brown were also patrons of the event.

Its nice to see Naomi in the press doing something really positive. The event was in aid of  "The White Ribbon Alliance". Sarah Brown was also photographed eyeing Tyson beckford (photos after the jump)

Harry Potter star, Emma Watson is featured in the pages of the November issue of Italian Vogue. Emma  has transformed from Little Hermione Granger to a fashionista who is represented by Storm Models. I really like the pictures and I think she looks like a porcelain doll. However,seeing Emma in Italian Vogue makes me ask myself "are models are becoming extinct?" Italian Vogue is supposed to be the marker that a model has reached the pinnacle of her career. Celebrities are increasingly booking jobs that models would traditionally get ( for instance Peaches Geldof for Agent Provocateur).  It reminds of when Beyonce landed the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue last year.

Today during the 3rd day of London Fashion Week, Stella McCartney teamed up with Olympic Champions Victoria Pendleton and Allyson Felix to showcase her Adidas Collection. Also in attendance were members of the British Olympic Gymnastics team.

The gymnast did somersaults on the trampolines and performed handsprings and handstands on the balance beam, There were also runners on treadmills dressed in Adidas by Stella McCartney. Its quite an unconventional way to showcase a collection but I think its really appropriate as it shows the sportwear line in action.

I just couldnt resist posting another Obama related  story. Last month I posted about Andrew Christian’s Obama underwear now Andrew Christian has gone a step further. He’s enlisted the help of some US soap stars  to help promote Obama and the underwear line in a campaign  called  "Daytime for Obama".  All the celebs did the  photo shoot for free. The  stars that stripped down to their undies  to support  Obama are:

• Blake Berris, Days of Our Lives
• Lesli Kay, The Bold and the Beautiful
• Ashley Jones, The Bold and the Beautiful

This weekend I attended a two day fashion exhibition called Facshion (pronounced faction). Buyers and press and the general public  were there in abundance. I was actually  impressed by the turnout and some of the designers were quite impressive particularly Edie rocks, Steven Harkin, DeedamG and Jeminee Solanki .  As usual I have photos from the event thanks to photographers Andy Espin and  Tarvo Raun.
