This October Esquire is celebrating there 75th Anniversary and they are going to go where no Magazine has gone before.

The  October issue will  be the first Magazine to use E- Ink technology. Electronic Ink (E ink) allows the text and images on a page to change electronically. (awesome isnt it!). The technology requires the magazine to have a built in battery.  The batteries have last for about 3 months. The video  shows some footage of the new issue and it looks pretty cool!!

Esquire will print 100,000 copies of the October issue with the special electronic  cover.The E- ink cover will sell for $5.99 while the regular cover will sell for $4.99. If its available in the UK I’ll buy one  just so that I can say I have the special E-ink cover ( im a sucker for new technology and gadgets). Could E-Ink be the future of  Magazines? I think so.
