I think its official now to say that Emanuela De Paula has replaced Alessandro Ambrossio as the face of NEXT Clothing. Last Season i knew Emanuela de Paula took the lead in the ads becuase Alessandro had just given birth . However, now that Alessandro is back in model shape ( she even did the last Victoria Secret Show) NEXT has still chosen Emanuela as the face of their collection. I saw this ad last night and thought id share it with you. I really like Next's ads they are always really good and Emanuela de Paula is probably one of my fave models ( I still don't believe that shes 18 though, 18 years olds are not this hot). The ad also features British Model, Nathan Bogle who plays Emanuela's love interest in the ad.

The May Issue of V Magazine (V59) features 6 supermdels on multiple covers. The 6  supermodels on the cover are Eva Herzigova , Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Gisele Bundchen, Claudia Schiffer, and Daria Werbowy. I have managed to find four of the covers online but the covers with Kate Moss and  Daria Werbowy are still a mystery. The issue was shot by probably one of the greatest photographers to have ever lived, Mario Testino. On the covers Naomi channels a playboy bunny while Eva pays homage to Marilyn Monroe.

Scottish designer Christopher Kane has signed on to do a Autumn/ WInter collection for Topshop. Grazia  details discovered the news of the collaboration at Topshop's press day last week. He told Grazia :

London based designer, Alexander Amosu has unveiled the worlds most expensive suit. The suit was made from rare materials such as Vicuna wool, Qiviuk, 18-carat gold and pave set diamond buttons. Last week the suit was sold to a mysterious buyer for £70,000!!!!!

Posh and becks are at it again. David Beckham ha followed his wifes  lead and collaborated with James Bond, (owner of the Undefeated sneaker-freak boutique) to create fall/winter  2009/10 men’s collection for Adidas Originals by Original. Designers Jeremy Scott and Kazuki, will also come on board for the collection. As with all celebrity collaborations, I wonder how much of an input David  Beckham will have in the collection. After all Kate Moss revealed that she "can't draw a dress" so I wonder if David is in the same category.

New York , Matthew Williamson H&M Launch

The fashionistas at the New York launch of Matthew Williamson's H&M collection look like vultures devouring prey. The Brits however dont look as excited which is surprising given that Matthew Williamson is probably more well known in the UK. The video above scares me  it  looks like someone could get hurt… seriously lol.

The New Yorkers are frantically running in and grabbing clothes, its like a free for all!!! In contrast the UK shoppers , orderly go into the store  without any chaos or drama.

Ive seen designer lollipops so  seeing designer plates shouldnt be a major shock. Designers such as Giorgio Armani and Paul Smith  and Models , Heidi Klum and Claudia Schiffer have  shown their support for charity by designing special collectible plates.

The plates retail for £10.99 with the money going to 21st Century Leaders and a charity of the designers  choice.

As I have said a million times I am gossip girl obsessed, Blair and Chuck are my two favourite characters. Today Grazia posted a video of Ed Westwick doing their guy's fashion quiz. Ed totally proves that Chuck Bass is just a  character because  Chuck Bass would definitely pass  any fashion quiz. Ed's fashion knowledge was so bad that he thought Mario Testino was a designer. At least he knew the four fashion capitals are London, New York, Milan and Paris.

Last month I was in the Magazine aisle of my local supermarket and  I saw  that the cover of FHM UK had been covered with a green plastic  paper that they usually reserve for coverng up adult magazines. Its kind of funny becuase  on the cover of FHM Mischa Barton is wearin more clothes than she is wearing on the cover of Cosmopolitan but the FHM cover looks really sleazy. I have no problem with sexy covers but MIscha's FHM cover just looks sleazy. Im glad to see that  shes back to her usual classy style with the May Cosmo cover.

I have to say Arena Homme is probably one of the world's best man's fashion mag's. They recently did a photo spread called "The Life of a Boy Model". The spread was shot by photographer  Alasdair McLellan and features an ensemble cast of British male models including George Barnett, Cole Mohr, Ash Stymest, Josh Beech and Luke Worall. From looking at the spread it would seem that Life of a Boy model includes  getting a bad-ass haircut and  regular visits to the local tatoo parlor.  The modelling industry has really changed. In the 90's and 80's having a tatoo was like career suicide nowadays lots of the modelling industry's most in demand guys have  lots of ink.

British Girlband, The Saturdays are releasing their own Topshop line. Each will design two pieces in their signature colours. Topshop loves  doing these collabs. They have collaborated with Models, Designers and now with pop stars.

There are many fashion blogs in the blogosphere some are brilliant and inspiring but for every good site there are 10 bad ones.  Stylefrizz  falls into the first category because I am obsessed with it. After discovering it 6 months  ago it has become one of my daily reads. Its author Kpriss has a way with words and style that's just got me addicted. I decided to interview her and  share with you a bit of the fashion gold that is her blog.

1.Tell us about yourself? (anything you wish to tell)

 Most people expect a fashion-beauty professional background when it comes to fashion/style bloggers. I’m not that kind. I was brought up in a most normal, laid back attitude towards fashion and all things style. A BS in economics doesn’t certify a fashion future . ( I found this very funny as I also have a BS in Economics and  know quite a few designers and bloggers who  have Economics degrees)
