Burberry is keeping it in the family. The new Spring Summer 2010 ad campign stars Harry Potter actress, Emma Watson and her brother Alex Watson. Her brother, Alex Watson recently signed to Storm models and was enlisted by Burberry to feature alongside his sister in the Spring Summer ads.

I watched James Cameron's Avatar movie this weekend and it was absolutely amazing. It's a visual masterpiece with a compelling storyline. Well after watching the movie did you want to know how you could do your makeup so that you would look like a native of the Planet Pandora?…didn't think so. Being a Londoner, I sometimes find myself guilty of a bit of "Big CIty Short Sightedness". Its the phenomenon where people in London forget that their exist a vast world outside of London. A short while ago I was invited to a Fashion tradeshow and I accepted the invitation just assuming that It would be held in London, much to m dissapointment I releaized on the day of the show that the show was actually in Leeds and I hadn't booked accomodation or transport..needless to say it didnt end well.
Ive learnt from my mistake and now I am always looking for events happening beyond the M25. The Midlands Young Fashion Designer Awards (MYFDA) is one such event. Its an annual event created in Birmingham and aims to expose the wealth of creative talent across the Midlands. The MYFDA Awards have established a reputation as a launch pad for cutting-edge regional fashion design talent. The annual event offers up and coming and emerging fashion designers the opportunity to gain invaluable experience on a professional platform while at the same time unearthing some of the most outstanding design talent in the region.

She stars alongside Karl Lagerfeld's man candy, Baptiste Giabiconi. This marks consecutive seasons that Kate Moss has been the face of Just Cavalli.

Lara Stone 2.0, Georgia May Jagger's ads for Versace Spring Summer 2010 have been released. The campaign was shot by Mario Testino. on the internets most popular fashion forum, TheFashionSpot opinions on the campaign are mixed. one user described it as " Bright colors, nice pose, unusual angle of her body. It's a huge step up from the past seasons" while another said "Freaking love it for some reason. the colours are fantastic." However, not all of the users were as positive. Salvatore said, "I hate to judge so early, but it looks kind of tacky."
As you already know when Georgia May Jagger won the British Fashion Award I was in major disagreement. georgia is a pretty girl, but model of the year is not accolade that I think she deserves at the moment. I think my problem with Georgia May Jagger was aptly discussed by TigerRouge from TheFashionSpot.
"Yes, she's a beauty but she's yet to learn how to model like a pro, and in a way, that's only natural. I always get an excited tingly feeling when I see new clothes from River Island. River Island is my not so secret obsession. These are the first images from the River Island Spring Summer 2010 look book and once again I am loving what im seeing. the military trend that dominated 2009 isn't present in this collection. instead it is replaced by an almost preppy throwback to the late 1960's. I can't wait for this to hit stores.

Avant Garde designer Gareth Pugh has teamed up with Nick Knight to promote Mercedes Benz new SLS AMG, sports coupe. Model, Julia Stegner was used for the campaign and wore black armour style leggings and a corset The outfit is similar to the one that Lady Gaga recently wore when she performed on X Factor.
The campaign will be released in time for New York and Berlin Fashion Week.

The poll to vote for the Best British Male model of 2009 has finally closed and the winner is a bit of surprise but a good surprise. In 2009 Max Rogers landed the September cover Of Vogue Italia which is a huge accomplishment for any model, furthermore a male model, Danny Schwarz had multiple campaigns shot by Mario Testino and Armani and a string of editorials, David Gandy continued his dominance with his Dolce & Gabanna campaigns. However, these three models were beaten to the top spot by Sam Way. I once heard someone say , " that you are no one until you have had a fragrance ad on tv". Well this year Sam Way has had two! He was the face of Diesels Only the Brave Campaign and he was the face of Paco Rabanne's Black XS. Congrats to Sam. The Results of our Poll were as follows.
