The BFC announced the finalists for the British Fashion awards and while the list has the usual suspects there are also a few surprises.

Victoria Beckham was nominated for her first British Fashion Award. If she ever needed validation that she was a serious  fashion brand and then this nomination is that validation. She is nominated alongside Iconic brands such as Pringle Of Scotland, Burberry and Mulberry.

Another surprise in the list was the nomination of Lara Stone for British model of the year. Isn't Lara Stone Dutch?  I know she is married to a Brit and has a British father but I was surprised to see her nominated in the category. The full list of nominations is below
