Following the recent release of the original new track ‘Didn’t Know What Love Was’, a musical collaboration featuring Bernard Sumner from Bad Lieutenant, New Order and Joy Division, Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) and Hot City, Converse released a short film featuring Hot City in addition to an original new remix by the duo of the ‘Didn’t Know What Love Was’ track. The film is the third and final installment in a series of three being distributed alongside the new track and featuring each of the outstanding musicians involved.

Two of the  British acts featured in the campaign, Hudson Mohawke and Chew Lips, have both created their own unique remixes of the track ‘Didn’t Know What Love Was’. The Hudson Mohawke Remix is available exclusively at JD Sports and Chew Lips Remix is available exclusively at Schuh.

The newest member of the Sugababes, Jade Ewen is the new face of Miss Ultimo. The former Eurovision singer replaced Keisha Buchanan in the Sugababes and now she replaces Peaches Geldof as the face of Miss Ultimo. If she keeps this up, I think her next career progression will be "Jade Ewen replaces David Cameron" and becomes first female Prime Minister!!

Over the past few months Myla and Next models have travelled across the UK to find the perfect girl that embodies everything that is beautifully sexy. Tracie Bestford from the New Faces division at Next Models said, "The search has taken us to Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds and London and we have seen hundreds of girls at castings and received a multitude of online submissions".

Myla have whittled down the entrants to 5 lucky girls. After which, the finalists, from around the UK will come to London to do a test shoot with Next. Myla's PR Manager, Melanie Hughes revealed that the winner will be announced at the exclusive Myla 10th anniversary party scheduled to take place in November. The lucky winner will star in a Myla photoshoot, receive £500 worth of Myla lingerie and be represented by Next Models.

Fred Perry announced their collaboration with Amy Winehouse back in March. However for the past few months there has been virtually no information about Amy's  Fred Perry collection. Now the brand has released the lookbook images of the collection featuring none other than Any Winehouse modelling the collection.

This season Topshop Makeup make has launched Heavy Duty, a grunge inspired collection. The range features shadows, glosses, and polishes that have a Rock-chic vibe.

Topshop has just released a preview video of the latest Kate Moss for Topshop collection. The video was filmed by Nick Knight, and showcases her Autumn/Winter 2010-11 collection. In the video, Kate is seen dressing up in her collection alongside models Adwoa Aboah, Cara Delvigne, Genevieve Garner, Rosalyn Holman and Jessica Horton. The collection includes vintage dresses, floral prints and feather embellishments.
The collection will be available online and in stores from November 2nd, 2010.

The folks over at Fashin translated a Twitter conversation between Stefano Gabanna and his friend, Fabio Viscovo. After reading the transcript I think its fair to say that Stefano Gabanna isn't a major fan of Stella McCartney. The conversation is below.

It seems every celebrity now has a fragrance. The Sugababes are the latest addition to this growing trend. Heidi Range, Amelle Berrabah and Jade Ewen have released 3 new fragrances “Tempt, Tease & Touch”.

The fragrances are  described as "are spirited, uplifting, and perfect for the modern young woman". The fragrances are currently available at the perfume shop. 

The brand new Jemma Jube website and online store launched this week.

Following an increasing international buzz and a successful collaboration with Topshop this year, Jemma Jube is back with a vengeance and has entered the world of e-commerce.

The swimwear range is inspired by superheroes and supervixens and has quickly gained a cult following.

Im glad that Jemma Jube is booming, we first noticed the brand back in July 2009.

Next month will the mark the release of a collaboratve collection between Adidas Originals and Burton lifestyle collection. The iconic sportswear brand, Adidas will combine their aesthetic with snowboard brand, Burton to create a limited edition line of men’s street wear for the man who is athletic and stylish.

The Adidas Originals x Burton collection will be available this from November 2010 at select Adidas Originals and Burton Stores worldwide. The line consists of 7 shoes and 21 pieces of clothing. All pieces feature the Adidas Originals Trefoil and Burton branding.

The collection will include cufflinks, rings and watch chains.

Only time will tell if Pete has the midas touch of his former girlfriend. Kates collections for Topshop have flown off store shelves and hangers. Will Pete be able to create his own retal magic?

Does the Dior Autumn Winter 2010 look like the Jaeger AW 2010 ad campaign?

I just saw the new Lady Dior campaign ads and while I think the photos are great I can't help but think it looks a little like the Jaeger AW2010 campaign which was released earlier this year and has been in fashion mags and newspapers for the past two months. Both ads were shot in the London Eye. While there is no denyng that both ad campaigns are gorgeous, I can't help but wonder why Dior would shoot a campaign in the same location as Jaeger, during the same season? What do you think?

Today Converse releases a short film featuring  Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard of Hot Chip. This follows the release on October 6th of the original track ‘Didn’t Know What Love Was’, a musical collaboration featuring Bernard Sumner from Bad Lieutenant, New Order and Joy Division, Alexis and Joe (Hot Chip) and Hot City.
