I was very excited when I got sent the lookbook for Tsemaye Binitie's SS 2011 collection. I've always been a fan of his work and this collection is definitely inspired. The collection is divided into 4 distinct colour palettes, white and nude, yellow, blue and black. The pieces emphasize the essence of femininity and Tsemaye focuses on simple cuts with strong clean, lines.

“The Spring/Summer 2011 collection is called ‘cut out and keep’ and was inspired by the paper fashion game of the same name. It features dresses and daytime separates that convey a ‘down-town’ cool. Tops are cropped, trousers are slim and dresses are cut out to reveal bare skin or contrasting fabrics. Silk crepes and organza, jersey, denim and leather come together with signature body conscious silhouettes to create a unique and contemporary collection’.- Tsemaye Binitie
