Agyness Deyn has always expressed her interest in acting. She previously made a small cameo in a silent film by T-Magazine called "Dance of the Golden Axe".  In her latest project shes  got a leading role and  shes got words this time.   Agyness Deyn stars in a 1930s-style 12 minute long film titled, Mean to Me, directed by Peter McGough. In the short film, Agyness plays a spurned woman living with her older lover, played by fellow Mancurian actor Linus Roache. Based on her performance, I don't think this will be last time  that we see Agyness on the screen.

Agyness Deyn is the latest  British Supermodel to launch a clothing line.  Agyness has teamed up with Barney's Japan to  create the 11 ipiece collection that includes dresses, knits, scarves, t-shirts and leggings. The pieces start from 18,900 yen (£142) to 27,300 yen (£204). The line will launch at  Barneys’ Shinjuku store in Tokyo on March 13.

Agyness follws supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell who have both released capsule collections for Topshop and Brazilian label '284' respectively.

At this week's Fashion for Relief show Agyness Deyn fell on the catwalk…got up.. and fell again. After the second fall, the model decided to ditch the heels and walked the remainder of the catwalk barefoot. She was  wearing  a pair of 7 inch Burberry heels. I love heels  but I think heels over 6 inches were made only for Lady Gaga and Daphne Guinness.

At the same event Daphne Guinness walked the runway in 10 inch Alexander McQueen heels and she made it look easy.

I'm so used to seeing Agyness playing the role of a tomboy. Designers usually play on her androgynous features. Its refreshing to see her styled more glamorously and using her feminine allure. Hence, why I love her new ads for Anna Sui cosmetics. In the  video she  is working her girlish charm  and looks very sultry.

Agyness Worrall and Luke Deyn uhh the Deyn Twins??, sorry, I mean Agyness Deyn and Luke Worrall star in the new Uniqlo print ads. Ever since these two models started their careers I have always thought that Luke and Agyness look like brother and sister.  Infact, I  think they look so much alike that I have actually mistaken them for one another . They both have an androgynous quality which adds to why I think they are so similar. I much prefer these Uniqlo images to the previous images that wree released two weeks ago.

A preview of the Uniqlo print ad featuring Agyness Deyn an Gabriel Aubry surfaced last week. Now the TV spot has popped up on youtube. This ad is so weird…Seriously its bizarre!!!! It does have that quirky Uniqlo vibe so I guess it fits the brand well.

Agyness Deyn and Gabriel Aubry ( Mr Halle Berry) will be the new stars of Japanese fashion chain, Uniqlo. Agyness and Gabriel  appear in the ads for Uniqlo's new sportswear line. The campaign was  shot in New York by Dan Jackson and  will  launch on June 1st.

I think Agyness and Uniqlo are a match made in style heaven. Agyness' quirky style perfectly matches the  brands aesthetic. HOWEVER,The first two pics of Agyness aren't her best as she looks a little severe.

 

In the UK and USa top  model or actress would  NEVER do really commercial jobs like bottled water ads. It would be CAREER SUICIDE. However, as you go farther east into Europe and Asia it becomes more common place to see big stars doing commerical jobs. While I would never describe Austria as an eastern country its a lot further east than the UK.

Austrian mineral water company, Vöslauer has chosen Britain's hottest export, Agyness Deyn as there new spokesperson. Deyn follows in the footsteps of supermodels Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford who have both previously been ambassadors for the brand.

Agyness Deyn is on another cover of Vogue! She covers Vogue Brazil's  March Issue ( and I am barely posting about it minutes before April) I swear this girl has been on the cover of every edition of Vogue, shes done US Vogue, Korean Vogue, Chinese Vogue, Vogue Nippon , British Italian Vogue, Martian Vogue and Vogue Jupiter.

Ok … Those last two editions of Vogue dont really exist  but if they did I am sure Agyness would have been on the cover.

Agyness Deyn's BFF, Henry Holland unveiled his new collection this week.  Agyness lent her support by headlinng the show. The collection was far removed from his recent T-Shirt collection. He made use of monochromatic colours and horizontal whte stripes. The choice of colourst kind of reminds me of a paint chart.

The collection has a very grown up feel to it and at first glance it isnt what you would typcally expect from Henry's House of Holland label. Its kind of fusion of luxury and quirky.

Earlier this month i-D Magazine revealed the 12 alternate covers of their 'Best of British' Issue. Youtube user ChannelDoBeDo has posted a series of interviews with some of the top models featured on the 12 covers .

The 12 covers were shot by fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø and styled by Edward Enninful. Jourdan Dunn, Kate Moss, Susie Bick, Naomi Campbell, Stella Tennant, Eliza Cummings, Alice Dellal, Daisy Lowe, Twiggy, Yasmin Le Bon, Lily Donaldson and Agyness Deyn are featured on the covers.

The March Issue of ID Magazine will be doing a Best of British theme and will have 12 alternate covers. The covers feature 12 British fashion Icons and It Girls and were shot by Sølve Sundsbø.
Personally I like Agyness and Twiggy's covers the most.

Over at the Love Magazine Blog they have  posted the 3 covers of Love Magazine's debut Issue which will hit news agents on February 19th.

Stella Mccartney has  used Angela Lindvall and Kate Moss for her latest ad campaign. Here is Kate's Watercolor shot. The campaign was lensed by Ryan McGinley.

  Conde Nast latest publication is set to debut on February 19th. "Love Magazine" is spearheaded by former editor of Pop Magazine, Katie Grand. Former Editor of Heat Magazine ,Mark Frith is also part of the 'Love' team.

The slogan for the Magazine is Fashion & Fame, so I imagine Katie Grand will  be in charge of the fashion component while Mark Frith will lead the fame/celebrity component.
