Angel Jackson just sent me their new campaign shots for 2010 and as usual they have outdone themselves. Angel Jackson have returned with their signature style aesthetic but this season the bags have an extra "POW!". The bags are young and feminine but edgy and very on trend. We have been raving about the bags for quite some time now and last year they were the only accessories designer to be nominated for the British Fashion Council/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund.

Angel Jackson started out as a range of handbags and for AW 2010 they will branching out and creating shoes as well. Which begs the question Could Angel Jackson be the next Jimmy Choo? Only the future will tell but theres definitely room for more than one British luxury shoes and accessories brand.

Westfield London Hosts fashion show for Haiti

We are always supporters of any event to help a good cause. On March 18th until 20th, Westfield London – in partnership with The Sunday Times Style, is hosting The Greatest Fashion Show on Earth. The three day spectacle kicks off on Thursday 18th March with a star-studded VIP night, in collaboration with the British Fashion Council, supporting Naomi Campbell's Fashion For Relief Campaign and the White Ribbon Alliance to raise funds for mothers and babies in Haiti.

The event will be hosted by Erin O'Connor who will open the event, alongside Chairman of The British Fashion Council, Harold Tillman. Television presenter, George Lamb will also be hosting, bringing you access to behind the scenes and up-to-the-minute interviews with the creative masterminds of the show. Continue Reading

Vogue Fashion Fund Nominee: Angel Jackson SS 2010

I have been raving about Angel Jackson for ages now and I was really pleased to annoucne that they were one of the nominees for the BFC/ Vogue Fashion fund. These are shots from their Spring Summer collection and once again the bags are beyond gorgeous. I love the embellishment. I hope Angel Jackson bags the BFC fashion Fund and goes supernova. I think Angel Jackson could be as big as Jimmy Choo.

The BFC / Vogue Designer Fashion Fund

Earlier this week I posted about River Island nurturing design talent by sponsoring Graduate fashion week and by championing the River Island design forum.

Now the British Fashion Council/ Vogue Designer Fashion Fund nominees have been announced. The £200,000 programme supports Britain's young design talent both financially and by offering them expert business advice from industry professionals and was created by Vogue and the British Fashion Council.

I am proud to say that Angel Jackson , a brand we have featured on this blog numerous times is on the list of nominees. Accessories brand Angel Jackson, is nominated alongside Christopher Kane, Richard Nicoll, Erdem, Marios Schwab, Clements Ribeiro, bespoke tailor E.Tautz and shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood .

Good Luck Angel Jackson.. I hope the label wins.

Angel Jackson Sequin Satchel

As you all know I cant hide my favoritism for all things British. I even have a blog dedicated to British fashion and style. This season I have been seeing loads of clothing with the British Flag (the Union Jack) emblazoned on them.

You can imagine that I was quite excited when I heard that British designer handbag label, Angel Jackson has created a special sequin Union Jack sequin satchel. The bag commemorates the 100th anniversary of Selfridges being on Oxford street.

Designers to die for: Angel Jackson Lookbook

Angel Jackson is a brand that is still relatively new to the luxury handbag market. The brand has only been around for four years and already it has been featured in magazines such as Vogue, Instyle, and Elle. The brand was started by sisters Katie and Millie Smith and all the bags are made in Bali in fair trade workshops using ethically source materials. The Angel Jackson brand has to be one of the prettiest luxe handbag labels I’ve seen in a while. I am really liking the clutches and totes. The use of materials is very interesting and the collection has a very young girlie feel. When I was sent the look book i really liked the images and knew I had to post them. Enjoy!
