Karl Lagerfeld recently created a  Coca-Cola Light bottle featuring a black silhouette of himself. The bottle is fashioned  from aluminium bottle and has a flourescent pink bottle cap and Uncle Karl ‘s signature.  He has enlisted Coco Rocha and Baptiste Giacobini, to star in the billboard  campaign that kicks off from April 28. The bottle will sell at Collette for 3.5 euros however Die-hard Karl Lagerfeld fans can purchase  a special edition of the bottle for 60 euros from Colette. 

After I revealed that Baptiste Giabiconi is working on a music album, he has confirmed that he will soon be releasing a single. Baptiste Giabiconi posted on his official facebook page that he is "very busy (with) fashion week and the single coming soon". He has even launched an official myspace music page.

Now I am wondering what sort of music he will be  releasing. My guess is Glam Rock. Stay tuned as  he will probably release a teaser soon.

We recently tried to Interview Baptiste Giabiconi ( Karl Lagerfeld's muse and the number 1 male model in the world) .  His manager got back to us today with the following message but he let some very interesting news slip-

"Dear Che,Thank you very much for your proposal but I have to decline it because Baptiste has a very busy schedule for the time being among the fashion shows, the preparation of his album and his strong involvement in the Association "Face au Monde" he has no time off for the next few months. 

Yep!! You saw right Baptiste Giabiconi is working on an album!!! This comes just a week after it was announced that Madonna's boytoy Jesus Luz will be releasing a single this summer. I wonder which male model will have the best album. Jesus or Baptiste?

I swear Kate Moss  must have to beat designers off with a stick. Every season she gets so many campaigns and Spring Summer 2010 is looking to be business as usual. She stars alongside Karl Lagerfeld's man candy, Baptiste Giabiconi.  This marks consecutive seasons that Kate Moss has been the face of Just Cavalli.

 The first image from Lily Allen’s Chanel Coco Cocoon handbag ad campaign shot by Karl Lagerfeld has appeared on oh-lily.com (and NO!!! I do not usually visit Lily Allen fansites).  The ads arent half bad. She stars alongside Karl Lagerfelds current sidekick/muse Baptiste Giabiconi.

If I didnt dislike Lily Allen this would actually be a good ad campaign. I just get tired of seeing her starting online fights on twitter, feuding off other celebs, partying and chiming in on every social issue that has absolutely nothing to do with her.

Six months ago I didnt even know who Baptiste Giabiconi was. Now he is the number 1 male model in the world. He has booked multiple campaigns for Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld is one of very few designers who has the power to turn a model into a major star overnight. Baptiste Giabiconi stars in the latest Chanel ads with British Super model Karen Elson.

French Connection is best known for their  controversial FCUK T-shirts. However, it is one of the British brands that doesn't get as much attention for  the rest of its clothes (infact ive never mentioned it on this blog before).  I was kind of surprised ( in a good way)  when i saw the recent FCUK  campaign. 

The Spring/Summer 09 campaign stars models Tyson Ballou, Taylor Fuchs,  Danijela Dimitrovska and another model and was shot by Terry Richardson.

 I am quite impressed when I see a high street ad campaign that isn't your run of the mill picture of  a "Pretty girl  with "Ken Doll lookalike guy".  I like French Connection (FCUK)S/S09 campaign because it is original.  Check out the shot below with Danijela stepping on Tyson. The clothes are also nice lots of grey, beige and brown coupled with bright cerulean and turquoise.

Is it just me or does Tyson Ballou look like  the latest member of Karl Lagerfeld's entourage, Baptiste Giabiconi

 Karl Lagerfeld has chosen a fifty year old blonde and a young model for his latest photo shoot ( and I do not mean Madonna), Bombshell for his latest photoshoot. Karl shot Barbie along with male model baptiste Giabiconi. You may recognize Baptiste from the recent Chanel campaign he shot with  Jerry Hall.

French fashion retailer, Colette hired  designer/photographer, Karl Lagerfeld to shoot a special series of Barbie photos to be displayed in their upcoming Barbie 50th birthday celebration between March 9th and 28th

Karl also took some shots of Barbie with his statement Teddy Bear.

One more shot of Jerry Hall for Chanel Accessories. This time she is in Colour!

I think I am definitely noticing a trend this month. First we saw  Madonna with young Brazillian model, Jesus Luz. Then we had the most stylish man on tv, Ed Westwick from Gossip Girl and former Victoria Secret Model, Helena  Christensen for Harper's Bazaar.  Now we have another older woman paired with a younger man. In the new catalogue for Chanel Accessories Jerry Hall is paired with Italian Model, Baptiste Giabiconi.  The campaign was shot by by Legendary Chanel designer, Karl Lagerfeld.

It seems the Toyboy is the new fashion accessory or maybe its the Older woman that is the new accessory for young men.

British Avant Garde designer, Gareth Pugh was featured in the NY Times T Magazine, this week. Gareth is a favourite of the British fashion elite and American pop star, Beyonce recently wore his clothes in her music video.

Model Baptiste Giabiconi will take the part of Jerry’s toyboy, fresh from starring in Lagerfeld’s silent mini-film, which screened during Chanel’s Paris-Moscow show.

Lagerfeld has a long history of choosing established names for his campaigns: Hall takes the reigns from Schiffer, while he also favours celebrities, picking Nicole Kidman and Keira Knightley for Chanel perfume ads.
