Danny Schwarz *drool* is in the new Colcci campaign alongside supermodel Gisele Bundschen. This is the first major shoot that Gisele has done since giving birth to her baby boy back in December. Danny's career in 2010 continues to get better and better. First he shot his first magazine cover for OUT's swimsuit issue and now he's booked campaign alongside the most famous model in the world.
Heres an exclusive sneak peak at the spring summer 2010 look book shots from BFC/Vogue fashion fund nominee, Angel Jackson. They are gorgeous!! They were photographed by Tung Walsh whose work has been featured in I-D, Pop, Dazed and Confused and 032c.
Hi girls and guys, as promised here are some images that were shot for the Beauty Confessional by photographer Christian Trampenau. The model for the shoot was me (Paula) and the editorial features dresses and shoes from French Connection's 80s inspired Autumn Winter 09-10 collection. We also threw in some tights from H&M's divided collection and gloves from River Island to give a bit of an 'edge' to the look. Special thanks to Tobie from French Connection.
Bex Dress and Sam Shoe Boot from French Connection, tights from H&M divided

Beverely Knight is the queen of British Soul, she has dominated the british charts for over a decade. Now Beverley is following in the footsteps of Iman as she launches a line of cosmetics for women with darker skin tones. The makeup collection is called K by Beverley Knight. The line has 15 products in a 78 different shades.
"Like the majority of black and dark skinned women I found there wasn't any range that provided the…colours I needed. I was so excited to be offered a chance to work on my own…products, introducing a home-grown brand which caters to all tones of Black and Asian skin" – Beverley Knight
The collection launches on September 17th at Selfridges and Beverley herself will make an appearance at Selfridges to celebrate the launch.
Recently I posted about Kate Moss' 28th British Vogue cover. In the past 16 years she's had more than 2 years worth of covers. In 2000 she was on the cover of 4 British Vogues 12 covers. I cant think of any other model that has had more covers of a particular magazine than her. In fact the only person to cover a magazine more than her is Oprah Winfrey. However , its okay for Oprah Winfrey to cover every issue of O Magazine because she owns it.
One reader of this blog, got especially peeved by Kate Moss' appearance on the cover of British Vogue's September 2009 issue. Benedict left the following comment on that blog posts.
" What the F*** are you drugged-up bitches so excited about? Do they have no models left in the U.K. I have no problems with Kate being on a cover but when they all look the same for the 28th time – it's a joke! Her contribution to fashion is nil and she knows it. This skag is milking it for all its worth, so much for playing victim.
Alexandra Schulman has a lot to answer for: 1. If all you can do is put the same model on every cover then why bother coming to work. To think she is considered for U.S Vogue – hahaha!Anna Wintour she aren't 2. Your dress sense screams 'Mum of a dozen kids' not 'Fashion Editor'. 3. So much for taking a stand against size zero models, yet you support the drug habits of this drugged-out whore. What are you promoting here? The drugged-out, urchin heroine chic has been on our landscape for two decades, yet you continue to promote this in a fashion magazine – HYPOCRITE! 4. Your life changed when you landed at Vogue, unfortunately you have not changed ours.
So please stop raving about every F*** cover Kate is on because it's a F***** waste of space in your drugged-out universe. If you want fashion Buy ITALIAN VOGUE!
British Vogue – buy if you want to wipe it with your bottom!"- Benedict
Although, I dont agree with everything Benedict is saying he does make me raise the question. Has British Vogue jumped the shark by placing Kate Moss on 28 covers? It is quite excessive , its not like there is a shortage of Supermodels.
Apparently baby's are the new model accessory of 2009. Gisele Bundchen, Karolina Kurkova, Adriana Lima and Heidi Klum are all pregnant. Now Vogue has revealed that British Model of the Year, Jourdan Dunn is also pregnant.
Vogue posted an artcle titled "Expecting In Style: What The Pregnant Jourdan Should wear this fall?" thus announcing Jourdan's pregnancy to the world. Apparently the 19 year old is expecting her baby in December.

These images are from Neil Barrett's Spring Summer 2010 collection. The show confirmed a trend that I had noticed in the menswear hows in Milan. Sleeves are so passe in Spring Summer 2010. I swear in every menswear show i see lots of sleeveless shirts. It seems arms are the big trend of 2010 menswear. It might be too late to get nice toned set of guns for this Summer but there is still enough time to beef up by 2010. So before it gets too late I so need to hire a personal trainer!!!
As well as featuring lots of sleeveless shirts the Neil Barrett S/S 2010 collection had a very masculine feel with long shirts. Black white and earth tones were the main colours in the collection. The whole collection seems inspired by fencing from the cuts of the jackets to the knee length pants. They are reminescent of fencing breeches and jackets.
When I went to the River Island Press day I asked them to define the River Island man. They told me that River Island caters to various men and that they try to cater to the personal style of all men so they couldn't define the ir customers as conforming to a specific style aesthetic. If I had to describe a River Island man in one word I would say 'dapper'. Looking at this lookbook its easy to forget that River Island is a high street store. Definitely my favourite High street menswear collection for Autumn Winter 2009.
Life must be good for Mischa Barton. Shes got a new show and now she is releasing a new line of bags. Kpriss over at StyleFrizz definitely isn't a fan of the Mischa's new handbags
"why would anyone buy those tacky, cheap handbags Mischa Barton “designs” and advertises for (she’s just as bad actor in this ad campaign like in any of her acting gigs)! Heavily embroidered and so-last-season-animal-printed, Mischa Barton’s handbags lie in her shadow" -Stylefrizz
I actually think her bag collection is okay and its much better than her line of (overpriced) headbands. I really love the black bag with the fringing and I think the black and white animal print bag is also great. However I really don't like the colourful embroidered bag as it looks really dated. Overall though the handbags are ok and the campaign for the bags is good.
Last month I posted images from the River Island Autumn Winter 2009 lookbook. River Island is bang on trend this season. From the faux fur to the fringing, River Island has ticked all of the right boxes . The outfit above even reminds me of Balmain. Overall its definitely a thumbs up for River Island
British actor, Max Irons is the new face of Mango's HE Emerito Homini Autumn/Winter 2009/2010 menswear line. He has previously modelled for Burberry but now he is headlining the Spanish retail giant. The campaign was photographed by photographer, Francesco Carrozzi and the collection is in keeping with the current trend of military influenced menswear.
Check out the video below for a preview of the Mango menswear and womenswear fashion show for Autumn/Winter 2009
Once again Bruno has hi-jacked the cover of a major fashion magazine. This month he is on the cover of GQ and Marie Claire. On Marie Claire he shared the cover ith supermodel Alessandro Ambrossio. Well on his GQ cover he opted to go it alone! He also opted to forego wearing clothes as he is completely nude on the cover. Brunomania is totally wild!!! What is next a cover Vogue??….ok that will never happen
H&M obviously has a thing for British designers. They have previously collaborated with Matthew Williamson and Stella McCartney . Today they announced they'll be collaborating with British accessories label Jimmy Choo.
"It's such a privilege to design a collection to appeal to fashion savvy, street smart women. Jimmy Choo will bring to H&M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection – the perfect party pieces to wear out at night,' – Tamara Mellon, President of Jimmy Choo
The collection is due out on November 14th and omg it will probably be chaos. Jimmy Choo shoes usually start about £400 and fans of the label will storm the stores to get Jimmy Choo at H&M's prices. It'll be like Christmas in November.
It's finally warm in London, so I thought I'd keep up the heat with some steamy pictures of British Model, Jamie Dorman and Eva Mendes in the latest Calvin Klein ads. Last year she was the brand ambassador for Calvin Klein's Secret Obsession fragrance, In the US it was deemed too sexy for TV viewers and censors banned the ad. However, here in London the ad ran as per normal. Probably has something to do with us Brits being more open (read open as pervy) about sex on tv.
British model Emma Heming and her hubby Bruce WIllis are on the cover of W Magazine. They are also featured in a sexy editorial inside. Bruce is shirtless in most of the photos and wears underwear and red gloves while his wife Emma sports a very dominatrix-like look.
Emma Heming is no stranger to sexy photo shoots, you should recognize Emma from her days as Victoria Secret model and from the Fall/Winter 08 ad campaign she did for La Senza.
Images from the shoot are below.
More shots of the steamy photo shoot are after the jump.
Check out the video above with Harry Potter star, Emma Watson and Burberry Creative Director, Christopher Bailey. They discuss the inspiration behind the campaign and give us a behind the scenes look at how the Burberry campaign was shot.
