Despite the rumours that POP magazine would fold after the departure of its editor Katie Grand. Instead Bauer will not publish a Spring edition. They are using this time to recruit a new Editor-in Chief. POP will return in Autumn 2009. Katie Grand will be working on a new magazine for Conde Nast (the Publishers of Vogue) called "LOVE".
I guess its true, "Once you pop, you just can't stop!"
Drew Barrymore is the Cover girl of the Winter issue of POP Magazine. I'm a bit surprised by their choice of cover models. POP is usually really cutting edge and gritty with their covers but this cover is moreso "sweet". Theres no denying Drew Barrymore's beauty but the cover just seems like a diversion from their sual style. Im not saying its a bad cover It just doesnt have the usual, "POP" ive come to expect
What do you think?
the cover photo doesn't really appeal to me but i guess if i was a drew barrymore fan it would be different otherwise i notice the flaws in the facial expression, pose and gaze
