Burberry is keeping it in the family. The new Spring Summer 2010 ad campign stars Harry Potter actress, Emma Watson and her brother Alex Watson. Her brother, Alex Watson recently signed to Storm models and was enlisted by Burberry to feature alongside his sister in the Spring Summer ads.

Burberry has launched a digital portal called Art Of the Trench. It's a collaboration between the iconic Burberry Trench Coat and a Social Networking portal.

Last night marked the return to London Fashion Week, of one of the most quintessential British brands, Burberry Prorsum. Christopher Bailey returned the show to London to celebrate 25 years of Fashion week. One interesting detail about the Burberry Prorsum women’s collection was the draping and ruching. This detail was present throughout the collection and was executed perfectly.

As usual Burberry Black Label keeps it simple and clean for their Autumn Winter 2009-2010 collection. The collection doesnt follow seasonal trends it sticks to the classic cuts that Burberry is famous for. The campaign was shot by photographer Lachlan Bailey.

The Burberry Spring Summer 2010 menswear show just took place in Milan. Christopher Bailey has gone for a very functional collection. Lots of pale blues, beige's and yellows. In this collection Christopher Bailey also used lots of straps hanging around the waistline . I like the collection but I am not a hundred percent sold on the straps trend as I cant imagine it on any guy that isn't thin or doesn't look like a supermodel.On another note I really do like the vintage style chelsea boots and coats.

The choice of Emma Watson for Burberry, Autumn/Winter 2009/2010 shows that Buberry is moving in a different direction. Previously thay have used an ensemble cast of models including Lily Donaldson, Eden Clark, Alexina Graham, and Richard Wyndham, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lily Donaldson, Kate Moss and Agyness Deyn. Emma Watson is a major diversion from their usually campaign stars. In the campaign emma is joined by Tom Guinness Taylor, Charlie France, Nick Wilson, Douglas Booth and Tom Hughes.

Burberry Prorsum's show usually takes place in Milan but come autumn this year the show will be returning to London. The show takes place on 22 September 2009 and will be the finale of London Fashion Week. Its great to see one of Britain's most prominent brands returning to London Fashion Week, the show will probably be the highlight of London Fashion week.

A month ago I heard rumors that Burberry's difusion line, Thomas Burberry was being discontinued . Well those rumours must be wrong becuase the images from the Thomas Burberry Spring/Summer 2009 ad campaign have now found their way online. Thomas Burberry is the younger more casual line from Burbbey.
