Ruth Hogben and Gareth Pugh is a match made in style heaven, the fashion gods must be happy. Gareth has once again teamed up with Ruth to shoot a video presentation of his Spring Summer 2010 collection. The mostly black and white video stars verteran model, Kristin Mcenamy. It's nothing short of artistic genius.
Gareth Pugh AW 2010/2011 show
British Avant- garde designer, Gareth Pugh recently showed his collection at Paris fashion. Pugh is known for his avant -garde designs. This season he is definitely to be commended as he produced his most wearable collection yet but still managed to maintain a high fashion edge. The collection featured intricate leather paneling distressed knitwear and also had a bit of medieval influence with chainmail dresses. Overall the collection gets an A+ from me and was reminiscent of a high fashion take on the Matrix.
Gareth Pugh and Nick Knight Team up with Mercedes
Avant Garde designer Gareth Pugh has teamed up with Nick Knight to promote Mercedes Benz new SLS AMG, sports coupe. Model, Julia Stegner was used for the campaign and wore black armour style leggings and a corset The outfit is similar to the one that Lady Gaga recently wore when she performed on X Factor.
The campaign will be released in time for New York and Berlin Fashion Week.

As well as loving fashion, I have an unhealthy obsession with the X factor. This past week was a double whammy for me because Lady Gaga made an appearance on the X factor wearing a super FIERCE, Gareth Pugh catsuit ( Spring Summer 2007) and performed her new single “Bad Romance”.

In Beyonce's latest video shes once again wearing Gareth Pugh. This time she also wears Thierry Mugler . Her "Sweet Dream" video looks a lot like the video that Gareth Pugh launched at Paris Fashion Week. That presentation film that he created in collaboration with Ruth Hogben and showcased Gareth's Autumn/Winter 2009 collection. Beyonce's video also features split screens of her wearing Gareth Pugh (just like the presentation video) and also has her wearing capes flowing in the air

Beyonce Gareth Pugh and Fringed Shades in ‘Diva’
In her second single from her new album, Beyonce Sasha Fierce is once again wearing more Gareth Pugh. Britian is the birthplace of fierce and edgy so Beyonce choosing Gareth for her Sasha Fierce persona is a good match.
I am not sure who did the fringed glasses yet, maybe its Lorraine Schwartz who designed the metal glove she wore in her "Single Ladies" video.
