Little Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) is doing quite well for herself. Taylor Momsen  has been everywhere this year, She was the face Of Madonnas clothing line, she was the face of Newlook and now she is the face of a John Galliano scent. Shew stars in the new ads forJohn Galliano’s muse for his new perfume, Parlez-Moi d’Amour (speak to me of love). The scent has notes ofTurkish rose essence, ginger and blueberry. 

Reactions were mixed when the fragrance when it was initially announced that Taylor would be the face of the brand. Fashion Blogger Bryanboy was among those who were shocked by the announcement. Bryanboy said, "I love John Galliano with all my heart but this is just disappointing. Taylor Momsen? Really? Has it really come to this? No, it doesn't smell like teen spirit to me. It smells like the final nail to the coffin if you ask me."

Despite initial reactions, the ads have turned out quite well.

Asos has chosen Gossip Girl  star, Jessica Szohr as the cover model of their November 2010 edition. Jessica was photographed by John Lindquist and styled by Zeba Lowe.

She's always been my favourite Gossip Girl star but her styling is usually  hit or miss, and more often than not its a miss. However, I'm glad that she got this cover as its one of the times that she really manages to shine and  look nothing short of amazing.

Gossip Girl heart throb, Chase Crawford is ont eh cover of thiAs weeks issue of ES Magazine. The cover was shot by Photographer Nicky Emmerson. In the spread he is wearing  clothes by Burberry, John Varvatos, Hugo Boss and Paul Smith. In th accompanying interview he discusses his love life, Gossip girl and his career aspirations.

Rocker/Actress/Bad-girl, Taylor Momsen is being lined up by John Galliano to be the face of a new fragrance that will debut next month. Taylor made her debut as a model when she became the face of New Look in 2009

The images haven't been released yet, but knowing the Gossip Girls, stars penchant for causing controversy im sure the ads will get lots of attention. In her latest music video she is  writing on a table that is reminiscent of "The Last Supper".

I recently posted new images from Taylor Momsen’s New Look campaign where she working the whole Courtney Love look. Now I just saw her band The Pretty Reckless‘ music video for her debut single ” Make Me Wanna Die” and to be honest I wasn’t expecting much as most actresses turned singers aren’t that great (sorry Scarlett Johansson) but… I love her new single…she’s so authentic and shes proved that in addition to channeling Hole lead singer, Courtney’s style she can also deliver a strong vocal performance with hard rock edge. She kinda reminds of 30 Seconds to Mars‘ lead singer, Jared Leto as she has been able to go from TV star to Rock star. Love this song… I predict it will be huge. Go Little J!!!

Phase 2 of Taylor Momsen's New Look Campaign has been revealed. It's for the brands 5th, Idols collection and launches in store this week. Its very Rock chic.Taylor Momsen is looking like a young Courtney Love complete with smoky Raccoon Eyes. I can almost feel the teenage angst dripping off the images. I'm actually surprised to see this after Taylor recently admitted that she carries around a switchblade and has a collection of knives. I wonder if New Look will keep her for Autumn Winter 2010.

I've been saying it for ages, Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass) should be on the cover of Magazines. His co -star, Chase Crawford has already covered V Man and I've always wondered why Ed Westwick wasn't getting the same attention from  magazine editors. Well now  Ed is on the cover of Arena Homme's Winter/Spring 09/10  edition. Way to go Ed and kudos  to Arena Homme for putting  Chuck Bass in the spotlight.

Sacha Cohen (Bruno) isn’t the only Brit in the July issue of GQ. Ed Westwick is  featured in a  fashion spread  modelling a preview of  the Autumn Winter menswear offerings from luxury labels such as Rag & Bone, Burberry Prorsum, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada. The Gossip Girl star who plays TV’s most stylish villain is looking certifiably debonaire in this shoot. You have probably realized but I am obsessed with Gossip Girl. The clothes on the show are amazing. I particularly like Blair (Leighton Meester) and Chuck (Ed Westwick). Chuck is the pinnacle of style and fashion.

I have one criticism for GQ. If Robert Patterson and  Zac Efron can have GQ covers, why cant Ed?

As I have said a million times I am gossip girl obsessed, Blair and Chuck are my two favourite characters. Today Grazia posted a video of Ed Westwick doing their guy's fashion quiz. Ed totally proves that Chuck Bass is just a  character because  Chuck Bass would definitely pass  any fashion quiz. Ed's fashion knowledge was so bad that he thought Mario Testino was a designer. At least he knew the four fashion capitals are London, New York, Milan and Paris.

If you have been reading this blog for a while you know that Gossip Girl is our favourite show. We are addicted!!!!!!!! The Gossip Girl cast posed for a racy photoshoot for Rolling Stone Magazine with fashion photographer Terry Richardson. Blake Lively and Leighton Meester pose for the cover shot where they are eating Ice-cream. The cover will make pre-teen fans go "OMG!". Taylor Momsen, Jessica Shzor, Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick are also in the editorial. I like the editorial its fun and current. I only wish we had gotten to see some more shots of the other cast members as well.

Gossip Girl has to be one of the best shows on TV. Its also the show that has the biggest impact on fashion. "Blair Waldorf" and "Chuck Bass " are the two biggest fictional style icons I can think of. many fashionistos use these characters for style inspiration.

Footwear brand ,K-Swiss is using British Actor, Ed Westwick( yes, despite putting on a convincing American accent he is English), who plays Chuck Bass on Gossip girl as one of the stars of their new ad campaign.

The campaign  is in Black & White, and was shot by Zach Gold.

This isnt the first time that a Gossip Girl cast member has done an ad campaign for a footwear band. Taylor Momsen who plays Jenny Humphey on Gossip Girl, recently did a viral ad for Nike.

Many of you might not know who Eric Daman is. However, I bet you have seen his work before. Eric Daman is the man responsible for styling the cast of Gossip Girl. He ensures that they keep up an image fitting of New York’s upper East Side. From Chuck’s Bright coloured coats and signature scarfs, Blair’s preppy ensembles to Vanessa’s Bohemian style. Eric Daman is the brains behind this style masterpiece. I think Gossip Girl has made a huge impact on style today, no other show currently airing is as big of an influence on style as Gossip girl. I was really pleased to find this little gem while surfing Youtube. Its a short video about the Eric Daman and his role on the TV show.
