The nominees for the British Fashion Awards have been announced and  I am dumbfounded by the  nominees for best model of the year. Daisy Lowe, Georgia May Jagger  and Rosie Huntington Whiteley have been nominated for the  model of the year award. Now I understand why Rosie has been nominated for model of the year. She has been in campaigns for Agent Provocateur, Dolce and Gabanna and she is the UK's first Victoria Secret Angel. Now whats totally got me up in arms is why Georgia May Jagger and Daisy Lowe are nominated. I don't even really class them as models, they are more-so socialites. 

I don't think Georgia May  Jagger  has been one of the biggest models this year. Infact I don't even consider her a true model. She  hasn't even done that much modelling. She had a jeans campaign and the cover of Vogue. If that  qualifies you for model of the year then maybe  the British Fashion Council should have nominated, Lily Allen for "Best Model". She  has done multiple fashion covers ( Elle, Nylon, I-D, GQ) this year and she has had a Chanel campaign. I think the awards are losing a bit of credibility by including Georgia Jagger on their list.

Emerging Talent Award for Ready-to-Wear – Peter Pilotto, Meadham Kirchhoff, Mark Fast.
Emerging Talent Award for Accessories - Holly Fulton, Camilla Stovgaard, Jessica McCormack, Maria Francesca Pepe.
Designer Brand award – Burberry, Mulberry and Pringle of Scotland.
Menswear Designer - Graeme Fidler for Aquascutum, Kim Jones for Dunhill, Todd Lynn.
BFC British Collection of the Year - Christopher Kane, Erdem, Jonathan Saunders.
Accessory Designer – Emma Hill for Mulberry, Katie Hillier, Nicholas Kirkwood.

The winner of the awards will be announced on the 9th of December.

Everyday I get sent editorials to be featured on this site. I've seen it all , the good , the bad and the ugly. Today I was presently surprised when I got sent some stunning images of 2 new bookzines called "PUSH IT | The Story So Far :Volume 1 & 2". The Story So Far is a visual chronicle featuring many beautifully shot editorials.  PUSH IT Magazine, started out as an "online-only" publication and has flourished into to a fully fledged international publication. Love  Magazine has released another potential cover of their Autumn issue. Or at least I think they have. Earlier this week I was emailed this pic of 13 year old fashion blogger, Tavi . I wasnt sure if it was totally legit but now other blogs like Refinery29 are confirming that its the real thing.

Im not sure if this will be the actual cover. When the 1st issue of Love Magazine debuted there were mock-up covers featuring Iggy Pop, Agyness and Iris. However, when the actual issue hit newsstand shelves it was Beth Ditto that was the cover model. It isnt known yet , if this a mock-up or the actual cover.

What do you think of Fashion Savvy Tavi on the cover of Love?

First there was Bruno on Marie Claire, then there was Bruno on GQ. Now he is on the July cover of Attitude Magazine.  Once again he  is posing nude on the cover. Except this time he is not alone as there are several naked bodies behind him. At first I was thinking i'd pass on this movie now I think I will definitely watch it. The trailer for the movie is  hilarious.

The May Issue of V Magazine (V59) features 6 supermdels on multiple covers. The 6  supermodels on the cover are Eva Herzigova , Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Gisele Bundchen, Claudia Schiffer, and Daria Werbowy. I have managed to find four of the covers online but the covers with Kate Moss and  Daria Werbowy are still a mystery. The issue was shot by probably one of the greatest photographers to have ever lived, Mario Testino. On the covers Naomi channels a playboy bunny while Eva pays homage to Marilyn Monroe.
