Royal Ascot become enshrined in BritishHeritage. It is an opportunity for women to dress in their best formal clothes and wear a hat and in particular Ladies Day has become very competitive, particularly in the hat department. Every year women compete to see who create the most pomp and fanfare.
The Royal Ascot Fashion Show, returns to the Bessborough Restaurant for the five days of Royal Ascot. The catwalk frontliners for this year are Iconic British designer,Vivienne Westwood; maestro milliner, Stephen Jones; and designer Amanda Wakeley, who recently received an OBE for her services to the fashion industry; entourage to the stars Matthew Williamson; and the holder of three Royal Warrants, Gieves & Hawkes.

Today was ladies’ day at Royal Ascot. the highlight of the day is usually the hats and Royal Ascot 2010 was no different. Among the hats on show were these two made solely of blocks of LEGO.
