Stella McCartney and Adidas are collaborating to design the official kit for team GB for the 2012 Olympics. The first Season of Team GB products are now available. The range includes hoodies, tracksuits, jumpsuits, t-shirts and footwear and are a great way to show your support for Team GB.

The folks over at Fashin translated a Twitter conversation between Stefano Gabanna and his friend, Fabio Viscovo. After reading the transcript I think its fair to say that Stefano Gabanna isn't a major fan of Stella McCartney. The conversation is below.

Natalia Vodianova is back to shoot Stella McCartney's latest campaign. Stella used her for SS2010 and now shes back for Autumn Winter 2011. The images were shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot.

Stella McCartney has been busy.  When she’s not designing the uniforms for team GB or her own collection, Stella has taken on the task of replacing Bearskin hats that the Queen’s guard wear with animal-friendly PETA -approved replicas. Never thought we’d say this but soon the  Buckingham Palace guards could be wearing Stella McCartney.

Stella McCartney has has just been named as the new creative director for the Great Britain Team in the 2012 London Olympics.

Natalia Vodianova stars as the face of Stella McCartney's Spring Summer 2010 campaign. Last season Stella McCartney's campaign featured animated Disney Animals this season features an actual dalmation. I love the  shot of Natalia but  I am not sure what to make of the huge Dalmation in the background.

Its not a secret that Stella McCartney is a big animal lover. In 2007 Peta even named her their “Person of the year”. For autumn/winter 2009/2010  she is bringing her love of animals to her latest campaign shots.
The campaign  was shot by  photographer, Ryan McGinley and features ID cover girl Sigrid Agren, and  cutesy characters from Disney’s, Bambi.

Resort 2010 collections  are currently on display at Style.com. The latest offerings are from British design team  Preen and  Stella McCartney. Both preen and Stella McCartney have great collection. However, for resort wear Preen's collection is quite on the dark side. However the Preen Resort collection has lots of shimmering fabrics  so it detracts from the dark colour pallette and there are some  bright colours infused the collection (like the sexy pink dress above).

Stella has a included her jumpsuit from the Met Gala in her Resort collection.There are also lots of loose fitting floral patterned dresses, perfect for lounging around on holiday.

There is good news and bad news for the fashionista kids in your life. the Bad news is that Ben Sherman is discontinuing there children's line, so you wont be able to dress your kids like mini Pete Doherty's anymore. Gone are the days of tiny tot's wearing Trilby hats.

However, the good news is that Stella McCartney , confirmed today that she will be creating two children's lines  for Gap Kids and Baby Gap. The collections will be available later next year.  Luckily, stylish kids will still have something to wear.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Kiera Knightley have been Photographed  for the Red Nose day Charity.

In the photos they are wearing unisex T-shirts designed by Stella McCartney and the canpaign was shot by Mary McCartney. One of the T-shirts features an image of The Beatles photographed by Linda MaCartney. Another features Morecambe and Wise (the comedy duo) and was shot by photgrapher David Bailey. There is also a third shirt swith Madonna on it. One important addition has been made to the original photos,  all the people have been given red noses.

Along with Gwyneth Gwyneth Paltrow and Keira Knightley, Claudia Schiffer and Sam Taylor-Wood have also been photographed by Mary McCartney, wearing the T-shirts.

I posted about the Stella show earlier this week. Heres a video of Adidas by Stella McCartney at Fashion Week. If you look closely you can see Britains Beth Tweddle on the beam. Theres also an interview with sprinter, Alyson Felix and Victoria Pendleton.

Today during the 3rd day of London Fashion Week, Stella McCartney teamed up with Olympic Champions Victoria Pendleton and Allyson Felix to showcase her Adidas Collection. Also in attendance were members of the British Olympic Gymnastics team.

The gymnast did somersaults on the trampolines and performed handsprings and handstands on the balance beam, There were also runners on treadmills dressed in Adidas by Stella McCartney. Its quite an unconventional way to showcase a collection but I think its really appropriate as it shows the sportwear line in action.
