I recently posted some images from the Pull & Bear Spring/Summer campaign. Pull & Bear has to be one of my favourite stores, There are only 3 branches in the UK but I expect more branches to open . Above is the video  featuring the Spring/Summer Ad campaign.There Spring Summer line is very trendy, lots of fringing and has midwestern  aesthetique.

The Immortal Shalom Harlow, and Eva Herzigova are in the Spring Summer campaign for H&M . The billboards have started to pop up at various locations around London and they feature the two ladies and Actor Vincent Gallo posing with Geometric props. I like this ad campaign for two reasons

• 1. The whole concept is really well executed. Love the geometric shapes
• 2. Shalom Harlow proves that women can still look fabulous well after 30. ( she puts girls half her age to shame)

Everyone remembers When Kanye West popularized Shutter Shades. When his Video for "Stronger" hit Music channels he brought shutter shades into the mainstream in a Huge way. Beyonce recently wore a pair of Fringed shades in her "Diva" music video  and from the time I saw the video i knew these shades would be  Super Popular in Spring /Summer 2009.

The shades to the right are  by Berlin-based design company BLESS and cost £188.10 or $273.00 at Colette.

Agent Provocateurs  ad campaigns have had mystical and enchanted themes based on mythology . The new campaign features British supermodel Karen Elson. Karen who was formerly a Victoria Secret  stars in Agent Provocateur's  new spring ad campign titled "Ulysses and the Call of the Sirens" , Karen plays the role of a sexy seductress in the ads.  The company has previously used Daisy Lowe, Peaches Geldof, Pixie Geldof, Helena Christensen and Alice Dellal  in there campaigns.

Pull and Bear

Sam Way ( who I think is the UK's best male model  since Will Chalker and Andrew Cooper) is part of Pull and Bear's Spring Summer 09 Campaign. He previously did the Pull & Bear Autumn/Winter 08/09 campaign . This  time the shoot was lensed by photographer Daniel Riera.

I really like the Pull & Bear Spring /Summer collection its very earthy and its got a very midwestern vibe  to it. I would describe it as the Wild West meets style. I also like the overexposed look of the shots .

A month ago I heard rumors that Burberry's difusion line, Thomas Burberry was being discontinued . Well those rumours must be wrong becuase the images from the Thomas Burberry Spring/Summer 2009 ad campaign have now found their way online. Thomas Burberry is the younger more casual line from Burbbey.

British Fashion model, and former Victoria Secret Angel, Karen Elson is the face of Tom Ford Spring /Summer 2009. She was joined by male model Jon Kortajarena. The shoot was also photographed and directed  by the acclaimed designer Tom Ford.

“I have taken pictures for years, but recently have become more serious about it and have started shooting portraits,” said Tom Ford to WWD “I have always felt that an advertising image is in a sense the last layer of the design, and so decided this season to just shoot the campaign myself.“

Brit model, Eddie Tucker is in the new campaign for Emporio Armani. He is sporting a new bleached blonde look for the campaign.  He is also joined by model Toni Garn. I wonder if the whole  bleach blonde look will catch on because Calvin Klein also bleached AJ Abualrab's hair for their Spring Summer 2009 campaign. I am not really liking the ultra blonde look because it makes the models look like robotic men  but it does  catch my attention.

British Model of the Year, Jourdan Dunn is in the new Spring Summer 09 ad campaign for United Colors of Bennetton. She is joined by a host of models including Katrin Thormann and Dominique Hollington from Red Models. Loads of cold, bright Leggings. Black and white are also popular colours n this collection.

Last month when 1 picture from the ad campaign for Just Cavalli was revealed ,we were a bit surprised that Justin Gaston's face was not in the ads for Just Cavalli. Infact only his back was in the ads. Now the rest of the ads have been unveiled and this time we see Justin Gaston's face. Kate Moss and Justin Gaston are also joined by model,Kerry Degman from Major Model Management.

I like the campaign and the cothes becuase they look "timeless". In other words if you wore one of these outfits 2 years from now people would not say "that is so not in stlye anymore".

Stella Mccartney has  used Angela Lindvall and Kate Moss for her latest ad campaign. Here is Kate's Watercolor shot. The campaign was lensed by Ryan McGinley.

"It Girls" , Daisy Lowe, Pixie Geldof and Lydia Hearst are the spokesmodels for the new Pringle of Scotland Spring/Summer campaign. They are joined by male models Gordie Walker and Ash Stymest. The campaign was shot by famed fashion photographer, Stephen Meisel.  Its a good campaign but I think they went a bit overboard on airbrushing the images.  In the image Ash and Pixie, Pixie almost looks a bit too perfect, almost to the point of looking a bit wax.

The clothes from the campaign are quite varied and look very trendy and youthful.

Steven Meisel has shot Anna, Cameron, Edita, Iris, Shannan, Boyd, Jamie and Danny forthe new  Pepe Jeans London , Spring Summer 2009 campaign. Last year Pepe Jeans used Ashton Kutcher and Brazilian model, Isabeli Fontana for there ad campaign.

Here is a preview of Emma Watson from the Spring/Summer issue of ultra glossy, VS Magazine. The images were shot by photographer Ellen Von Unwerth. Emma  is styled  in a very burlesque , Moulin Rouge style look. It's very interesting to see her styled so very sexy when we are used to seeing her as "little Hermione".

For ages it had been rumoured that Pam Anderson would do the  Spring Summer Ad campaign for British designer, Vivienne Westwood. The canadian Actress who has for ages epitomized and defined the "California Blonde" despite  hailing from North of the US border. Pam has shown with this  campaign that she can also adapt to  a more indie, British  punk rock look.

 Daisy Lowe is part of the Spring /Summer ad campaign for DKNY. The campaign was shot by the Sartorialist Scott Schuman.

I really like Diesel ads. They  are always shocking attention grabbers. Sometimes there even a bit spooky, a bit scary and stop you dead in your tracks. I usually see the ads when I am at the Tube Station and 9 out of ten times I stop and have a look.  Tyler Riggs of Red Models is part of Diesel's Spring Summer campaign  and the photo is very intense. It reminds me of a modern take on an Alfred Hitchcock movie and is sure to make many people stop and take another look, or two or maybe three.
