This season Topshop Makeup make has launched Heavy Duty, a grunge inspired collection. The range features shadows, glosses, and polishes that have a Rock-chic vibe.
"Although Heavy Duty embodies a toughness and strength never before seen in Topshop Makeup, the playfulness of hand drawn scribbles and craft materials still embody the creative essence that is synonymous with the brand," said Sarah Thorne, Topshop Senior Creative Designer.
London Fashion Week may be over but our coverage of LFW is still going strong. The Topshop Unique show proved that seventies style aesthetic is back with a bang. The collection mixed bright solids with prints and included silhouettes such as flares. Fringing and acid wash were also used throughout the collection to give the collection an authentic hippie vibe. The look was coupled with frizzy big Seventies hair.

Yep, Lady Gaga is in both of the UK's largest high street chains at the same time. No word yet on whether either shirts i an official range by Lady Gaga.

This is our second original shoot that we have shot exclusively for Beauty Confessional.net. This time we went for the military trend. The inspiration for the shoot was Cheryl Cole's Fight for this Love music video except we tried to bring a darker more masculine edge to the shoot and thus RENEGADE was born. The shoot features pieces from ASOS, Topshop, RIver Island as well as some authentic military pieces. We also drew inspiration from Joe over at 00o00 blog as he is very into rocking the military trend.

Last Week we saw a preview of River Island's 2010 Spring Summer collection. This week its Topshop's turn. Topshop has released images from their Spring Summer 2010 lookbook. The collection has influences of early 90’s grunge, mixed with Madonna's iconic style from "Desperately Seeking Susan"/Into the Groove. The collection also includes floral prints and acid wash denim. Harem pants and angular shoulders help to give the collection a futuristic vibe.
Look at the heels on the shoes. Heels are obviously here to stay!! The higher the better.

This week Topman presented their SS10 collection. The colour pallet was composed mainly of blacks and greys with infusions of green shades.. From the cut to the fit Topman returned to the classic rock style they are famous for. Last year the collection contained many bright colours this year Topman goes for a more understated look.
Christopher Kane, Topshop, Topshop UK
The embargo on the Christopher Kane for Topshop collection has finally been lifted. So with no further adieu here are the images of the Christopher Kane Autumn Winter 2009 2010 collection. The collection ranges from about $80 – $350 and will be available from Topshop this September. Look out for the Shark T-shirt dress its fierce!!! Literally.

September 9th has finally come, so i guess its okay for me to talk about Christopher Kane’s collection for Topshop. Topshop has released the above preview video of the collection and to say this collection looks exciting is an understatement. I previously featured the photos of the collection last month but I was kindly asked to remove them as they werent due out till today.
Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, Topshop UK
I waited in anticipation for the Arcadia Group's Online Line Press Event showcasing their Autumn/ Winter lines for 2009 from well loved high street brands such as Topshop, Miss Selfridges, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis and Evans to name a few. So after a long and frantic day's work in the Capital I marched through the rain (in heels) towards the Soho area to get my fashion fix.
A well attended and successful event, the room was packed with fashion bloggers eager to see what fashions the future holds for the next couple of months. The focus of everyone attention was an inconspicuous photo booth in the corner which, when explored, turned out to be a doorway to a photo studio and a rack filled with fashion goodies which to my delight, I got to try on!
Women were everywhere flinging off clothes in a frenzy to be the first people to try on the latest designs. There were representatives from Vogue and the Times there too. I also met Susie from Style Bubble in the dressing rooms and she is just as lovely, if not more, in person trying on a black and gold studded number. She looked great in it. In fact all the bloggers I met were really nice people (Shout out to Scarlett Rose from Little Bambi Boots LOL… hope the evening drinks were fun!)
I must say that Topshop's clothes exceeded my expectations this season with some fantastic pieces. I was instantly drawn to a glitzy "Balmain" inspired dress with silver sequins. The hem line this season is high …ladies! And if your taller than average (like me) you might find that some sexy leggings to match might be a glamorous necessity.

Topshop has chosen to go for a shabby chic look for their Autumn Winter 2009 2010 collection. They have paired glamorous faux fur coats with tights that have runs in them. The collection ranges from £45 to £150 and includes slinky dresses, pencil skirts, strapless dresses, jumpsuits, chiffon kaftans. Some of the pieces also include studs, one of this seasons biggest trends.

Retrogurl has posted this pic of Jourdan Dunn ( pre baby bump) modelling the new Christopher Kane for Topshop Collection. The pieces are detailed with grommets and fringing. Apparently the dresses range from about $80 – $350 and will be available from Topshop this September. Topshop is hosting their bloggers Press Day next week in London and hopefully we will get a closer look at all the latest lines from Topshop.
Until that happens you can see the come of the looks from the collection brought to you via The Cut
Update: The images for the Christopher Kane for Topshop collection are under wraps. Topshop has nicely asked me to remove them for now. Dont worry theyll be back up after the 9th of September

Richard Gray over at 10 Magazine ( who I am currently e-stalking…love their blog) has revealed images of a collab betweeen East London jeweler Husam El Odeh and Topman. Sounds really exciting. Husam is one of the most craved after jewellery designers in London and so far I’m liking the images of the collab that ive seen. However, I’m completely baffled about what the silver guy in the above picture is doing.
The line launches on October 19th.

However, make sure you don’t go out with a group of friends all wearing the Bright Suit in different colours or you might end up looking like a 90′s boy band.
